Hiya...I have a 2.40ghz 533 FBS, 512mb ram P4 running on WIndows 2000.....I have a 64Mb ati radeon7000 video card that i have updated the newest drivers too... I also dl'ed Direct X 9......I can run a server at work on the lan for about 20 minutes and then it kicks everyone out and gives me this "Player overload" error.....when someone else fires up a server I can join for about 30 seconds and it gives me the same bloody error...any suggestions????????I also reinstalled it twice to no avail...... |

I know there was a problem with ATI cards causing overflow problems in one of the previous patches, but I think they fixed it, but you might want to look at ATI incompatibilities with HL. _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

There's a seperate patch for ATI cards. I had that same problem before I switched. I don't have the patch anymore but if you do a search on FilePlanet you should be able to find it. _________________

u probably already have this but if u went to www.sierra.com and looked under product updates their are a list of hl files that you can find for the ATI problems... just thought id mention it _________________
