Very aware, but they don't go to the same measures to hide them as Saddam has.

And what would waiting a month do? It would just give Saddam more time.

But more time for WHAT?

IRAQ represents no immediate threat, hidden weapons or not. If IRAQ represented a real threat, UN would agree on this, like they did in 91. So then, spend more time convincing them. Are you afraid IRAQ would invade USA?

Israel doesn't need to hide them, it was given to them by the USA. How do you think neighbouring countries feel about that?

Ok what you guys are talking about is called Appeasement: the act of tending or intended to pacify by acceding to demands or granting concessions. And as we have found out in WWII, that doesnt work. Saddam will continue to push his limits until he does something very bad. We need to stop him before he becomes like Hitler and produces genocide.

On another note: the Israel/Palestine conflict also has nothing to do with Iraq.

How do ya figure? He gives money to suicide bombers families that go out and kill themselves and innocent civilians. What exactly would you call that if it isnt something do to with Iraq supporting terrorism? His support for terrorism in Palistine is helping bring peace there? I think not.

apparently you dont know what i was refering to blown. The conflict between Israel and the Palestinians started long ago when the country of Palestine was broken up and the people who were living in Palestine (the palestinians) were suddenly without a homeland of their own, and now they live in two very concentrated areas. Israel is a big part of what was Palestine, and so there have been feuds between Israelis and Palestinians for a very long time, Iraq really doesnt have anything to do with that.

I'm very aware of that. My point was that he has ties to supporting terrorists. Was it not stated that we were going to go after ALL terrorists? You really think that if givin the chance that Saddam wouldnt employ terrorists to carry out acts against US targets. What about AlQaeda captives that spoke of chem weapons training carried out in Iraq? Bin laden and Saddam may not see eye to eye, but one common intrest is the hate for the US. Your right, I dont have proof, I actually dont follow things all that closely. I really doubt we would be going in there for the hell of it. Maybe thats why in Britian they voted in favor of force.
