Do you think a 480watt power supply is enough to run the following.
Exos cooling system
Pentium 4 2.66
(2) optical drives
(2) hard drives
floppy drive
sound card
Matrox Paraphalia
NIC
(3) cold cathode case fans
(2) cold cathodes
strobe light

Yes Disco Bushido I think it is if its a true 480 and not a crappy generic power supply. Try a Enermax or Antec.

An antec 480 should be just fine. I'd take a 300W quality PSU over a 600W no-name hunk of junk.
I'm not sure of the draw your built-in light show will have, just do the math of what'll be in your system, add about 50-100% more for good measure, and you'll be fine for sure  |
