I must admit that in my three week tour of Scottland I did try Haggis. Of course when I was told what was in it afterwards, I about died! Whats worse is at this Boy Scout Jambore at Blair Athol Castle me and one of the other American guys were put in charge of cooking these steaks for Burn's Day. Of course as Texans we thought we knew how to do this right. But after cooking the steaks over the fire for like thirty minutes, the Scots, that we were in a patrol with, yelled at us that we were burning the steaks. The funny thing was the steaks were still red. For some reason the meat wouldn't turn brown. The Scots told us that was the way it was and look at us funny when we said no the meat should turned brown.

Thewz are you serious about not knowing where Irelend is. Its that island off the west coast of England.

Oh and Gindapoo, I have down many of those snipe hunts in Boy Scouts. Its a tradition at one of our summer camps with the first year kids.

That depends on who you talk to. No, really Greebo would have to confirm this, but Scottland along with Wales has their own national parliament now. England still retains the treasury, military matters and other stuff. But I was under the assumption that they would eventually be spun off as separate countries sometime in the future.

Yeah we have our own pariliaments in Scotland/Wales/N Ireland but we're still ultimately under the control of Westminster.
I can't see any of the above splitting off from England though, mainly because our economies are quite reliant on each other plus it'd be essentially a pointless move. Bit like Florida or something declaring itself fully independant from America.

What are you talking about? Texas is its own country with its own music and speech.

I'm fixing to go with y'all to the pasture, for some good 'ole tipping.

And it is still in the state consitution that we can break away anytime we want. I say we do it before the war with Iraq.
