Even though I am new to The Ville Forum I have played TFC on and off here for the last two years. I too remember when you had to wait to get on to one of the severs but when you finally did, it was worth it because playing TFC on The Ville ruled and still does.
I don't know if this happens to anybody else but sometimes when I want to play TFC at The Ville, sever 1 is full so I have to wait to get in. Usually I check the other TFC severs but they are empty, so I play DOD. Don't get me wrong DOD is all right but I find that a lot of camping goes on.
So I guess what I am trying to say is that " LONG LIVE TFC AND LONG LIVE THE VILLE"  |

if you do a filter you find many good TFC servers with lots of ppl playing
people dont join servers that dont have people playing...

Ya, what Widow said......I'd play more often but I've just been busy with other stuff. TFC's Un-realism and intense action is what keeps me coming back for more! |

some went into ns = natural selection and some went innto dod = dayofdeafeat.. Also some can be found now at bf1942.. three great mods here at the ville!! but u can mostly find me in ns and every now and then maybe some tfc...
but thats the point tfc got a little old for some and some needed the change.. i thank the admins and servers, and council for setting these mods up for us!! |

Ive been having problem finding time to get into the servers with school and all. Also when i do get the chance to play im in the DoD more often

It's my personal fear that TFC isn't the only thing with death on the horizon.
Think about Half-Life in general. It's a great game with a ton of great mods, but it's aging fast.  It and all its mods, TFC, DoD, NS, everything else. Even the arbitrarily popluar Counter-Strike. The souped-up Quake II engine only competes with today's games becuase HL offers such good gameplay.
All good things must come to an end, even the Half-Life engine. So I wonder when (I MEAN IF) Valve ever relases Half-Life 2 (and its engine for making mods), will the Ville host servers for it?

People have been saying TFC has been dying ever since they said that Tf2 would come out. It's not dead until no one plays it. So just enjoy it while it lasts and quit arguing and complaining.
