I have 3 sticks, 1 is 256, and other 2 are 128. _________________

That is good to know. Do you have them in your motherboard in ascending order or descending?
It is important to identify which slot is slot 1 and so on. It is equally important to have your RAM installed in the proper order. For example... you should have your 128 in the first slot, your other 128 in the second slot, and your 256 in the third slot. It matters. Look at the owner info that came with your motherboard. Or you can just do trial and error. Install the memory in the order I described above... starting with the slot nearest the edge of your motherboard... if it acts bizarre... change it... install it in the reverse order. Whatever you do... make sure you do not place the 256 between the 128s.
This may solve your problem. I am not sure. But, if it does, it is a cheap fix. It costs nothing. If it does not, nothing lost but a couple of minutes.
Good luck! _________________

Thank you. I did that, and upon closer inspection my orginial RAM stick (a 128 stick) is only 100 SD ram and the rest are 133. _________________

Hmm, if you read the first response to your original post I think I asked this question. It's ok though. I am just a dumb hick. LOL _________________ IdiotSavant

I would. If it stops crashing then you know what the problem was.
Is your motherboard made for PC133 or PC100? I would use the reccommended speed ram for the motherboard you own. _________________ IdiotSavant

I seem to remember reading that Athlons had an excessive appetite for good, clean power. Nothing less than 300W, 350 if you can gete one. I went for 400W and haven't had a problem. _________________ Your suffering will be legendary, even in hell.
