During some quiet time today I started to think back on my early days of TFC. Pubbin, clans, and so on. I was just wondering what some of the other villuns used to do back in the day. Or even not so long ago.

Click on the trust worthy TFC icon on my desktop. Fired it up and go to "quick start". Went to here and there and everywhere but ever once in a while I would manage to get onto some place called the ville. After quite a few times I noticed a web site www.theville.org and well I clicked on it and the rest is history

it alstarted as me a little kid finding out about a new map "murderball" theville was the only place with peeps on murderball so i joined. i saw these goofy figues and was in love and the rest is history

When i started out I was a total n00b, I thought that 'Player' was a clan, and that their numbers were their ranks

I mostly would hop around servers based on map or how many people were on them, and I did that for quite a while, then I found the Kali Hunted servers, after a few clans, and became an everday regular there for a few months before taking another few months off of tfc. when i came back I started server hopping again, and found this place called The Ville, which had more than one server

. I played here for a few weeks and found that the people were nice, so i came to the website, entered the forums and played here quite often for a few months. Then I stopped playing again for about 2 months, and came back yet again, and here I am

I remember playing Quake in it's Beta stage. I used to contribute allot to a small site owned and operated by a dude named Spaceman Spiff(not Spliff) which was named the The TF Newswire which today is known as Planetfortress. I was in a clan called Clan Doomsday with the creators of planet fortress. After a year of disbanding we managed to regroup into what was known as Doomsdays Children. I just went to go look for the link but it's dead 8-(

good ol days were not that long ago for me...(end of july 2002)

Heard about TFC from a friend, then heard about the ville. Played for a couple months learned the basics of the game.( not nade priming though)
Then got tierd of waiting to get in. I did a quickstart and found the Hood. Hung around and fragged, then got into PWG. Now i have benn coming back to the ville when i have time.

i played old QWTF and found out that TFC would be a mod of half life. So i got half-life x-mas 98, and spent my whole winter vacation beating the single player part :p. TFC came out in may 99, and i played on the old NCA trial by ordeal. from there got into first clan, then from taht clan into RE. played w/ them for like 3 years.

I first stumbled ont he ville in dec. 01 when i noticed a server w/ 18 players that had a 10 ping :p the old tv5. someone called me a cheater on warpath, said they were gonna post on forum, so i came here to oppose him. eheh, then like 2 months later i regged a forum acct and started playin regularly.

yay i got accused of cheating again today cause i was using my aimbotapotamos name and i might have said aimbot activated and then attempted all headshots but thats besides the point. gj danno backing me up

I remember almost getting free reign to pick on anyone on Avantiville. I remember going 238-60...wait, That was Orbital Frame. That's right I went 93-0...wait, That was The Hood. I did go 71-1 on Avanti at SilverOne's house. I was completely hammered.

Unfortunately you people got too smart and forced Frag to basically retire the spy.
