Ok, it used to be the most popular server, and now no one plays there anymore. What's up with that? Is there something wrong with it that I should be aware of? What changes do I need to it to make it better?

Noticed that as well. Can't really answer your question but it may be an idea to TRY and make it a custom map server with 2 or 3 map rotation. It may or may not work but hey it just might be the icing on the cake.

I think in part, people grew tired of some of the over powering classes as the result of the neo mod. I was on a pub server the other day that had no rules as the number one rule. It was ugly but it was full.

I think a lot of the people that played there did so because they were looking for a change from tfc. No that there's NS and DoD I think most of them went to those mods. The die hard TFC'ers that still ply never like NEO in the first place. Take off NEO and I bet you see more people using it.

put on admin op. or what ever usv uses for fun nights. The fireworks effects are worth the price of admission.
Osiris or Krg will know more about that stuff

Lose the neo.

I don't know about anyone else, but I miss an all avanti server at The Ville. That is what attracted me here in the first place. But really any rotation is good, without the neo. The only map I just do not like much is warpath.

Well, if you want pub traffic, custom maps are out of the question.

It just doesn't work. Even the Ville regular traffic is never that much on custom map servers.

Munkey's server runs regular TFC maps mostly and even that srver manages to stay empty. Which sucks because that's where I get my best pings.

24 Avanti. . . I love Avanti but after one round, I usually disconnect. It's just too much repetition. But many here seem to like it so it might stay full. Who knows!

I'd say, lose the neo. If it's not working, it's not working. Other than that, your guess is as good as mine. From what I have seen so far at TheVille, it is almost impossible to determine what will and will not keep a server full. (as far as map rotation is concerned) We as a people are strange when it comes to our server habits.

Maybe. . open up TFC and go to multiplayer and see what maps are running the most on general servers. That would be a good way to somewhat determine what maps are attracting the pub traffic.? ? ?

Slaps some bots in there and the server will be full all the time.

Everyone just switched to playing on TV1 because there's always someone to play against. I occassionally hop on TV2 now, but I'm lucky if maybe one other person jumps on to play. Everyone waits for spots to open on TV1 because it's always full, and there's always a fun game going on.

If you took off Neo, ran standard maps and put some bots in, I bet it would be full all the time.
