Need all the luck there is. If I somehow fail then I can't threaten them with visits. I feel at a disadvantage here lol.

It's one of many exams in the track to become Microsoft 2000 certified...MSCE
and it's $100 per exam. If you fail it's another $100 to retake it. There are seven exams you must pass to become certified. Nine if you take the two A+ exams. I kinda bypassed the A+ for now so this is the first one. |

Good luck Frag. I have been working toward getting my MCSE as well. I've passed five so far and am taking Designing Security (70-220) on Friday. If you've haven't already, I recommend reading the Exam Cram books for the test. Also try looking up braindumps. Hope this helps for the future tests.

Hey Jac, I dont want to sound rude about this, but I thought you were like 15 or something. Aren't you friends with Slay, and you are both teenagers. Because Roof mentioned something of this in another post about Slay and his age.
Just wondering because it would be strange for a 15 year old to be taking MCSE test. However, I was Novell certified when I was 18, but not 15. Just courious.
BTW, Good Luck Frag. I know how nerve racking the test can get. The only great advise I can give anyone is to not procrastenate when signing up to take the test. If you take classes for them, then signing up right after is the best thing to do. Give a couple of days to study and then just take the test. Let us know the good when your done. |

Twisted the $100 goes to the testing center Sylvania Protremic or something like that. By being certified you get access to discounts on MS software and have special access to tech support. Also by being certified is a way for that company to try to quality control the people out representing their product. Problem is there is like 16 million MCSEs(NT4.0 of course). |

Yeah, the collapse of the technology sector has made it pretty bleak for MSCEs, especially if you don't already have a fat resume. We used to joke that you couldn't throw a grenade into a comic book shop without killing 20 MCSEs. Now, sadly, you can use the same joke, but replace "comic book shop" with "unemployment office" or "kitchen at McDonalds". Of course the easiest way to kill a bunch of techies is to frag at the Ville.
Good luck, Frag!

Well to answer your question Hamese, I'm not 15. I said I was 9, but I was just bullshitting you guys. Snay and I were roommates in college. I graduated just last May and am now working in the real world here in Houston. In fact, I'm writing this at work right now.

I'm using mostly brain dumps here at the end. Before it was some troitec and transcenders. I'm hoping that the tech market starts to turn around in the 2nd or 3rd quarter of '02.
