Signatures and avatars

Am I the only one who identifies people by their signature and avatar? I usually only look at the name line when it's a new poster. Otherwise I just know who's posting by the text or picture by the post.

You USV people drive me crazy.

A lot of you have the exact avatars and sigs. I CAN'T TELL YOU APART AT A GLANCE! God forbid I have to look at the name line.

Maybe that's just a symbolic message that shows the unity among USV. One mind! One spirit! One body! W00T for unification! Tiki taki tiki taki HOI HOI HOI!

Maybe you could have the same avatar but use independent signatures, or vice versa. You could also have similar signature backgrounds, but boldy state your own names.

yes, this has been mentioned in the USV forums a couple times now! im the same way as you as far as identifying the post by the sig/avatar and they're even driving me crazy!

as you can see, I chose not to go that route. hEh

(actually in their own defense, Bush has been messing around with his current sig & avatar and somebody(i wont name names!

) thought i'd be cool to start a thread to see how many of us are using one of the two

i've never seen so many of the same sigs & avatars in one thread before!!

I do recognize people by their sigs and avatars as well.

Usually, it looks like one USV member spammed an entire thread because some of our tags are the same.

However, the spamming is a joint effort taken on by more than just one person.

yeah, i noticed how much i use avatars and sigs the other day when I was reading a post.

Two USV members had posted one after the other, so I was like "WTF?"

I had to read the name >_< ugh
