Pvt. Jackson thanks for your sense of humor. We all like to give each other a hard time with sarcastic remarks and dry humor. Its a sign that you have been welcomed into our quaint little town with open arms. You will have to forgive us, our local cultural habits and traditions are quite different from other communities.
Another example of a cultural habit or tradition - "when you are in Italy, you never put your hands in your lap. They must remain in sight at all times, preferably on the table..." Which means that I can't wait to visit Italy and have Pizza while leaving my elbows on the table! HAHA!
