hey TVB or any clan

The initial TVB recruitment did contain people who were in clans. We had a couple of PWG and a LOT of NSA peeps. NSA was completely absorbed, er, assimilated into TVB, but only because NSA was falling apart and contained a lot of regulars. Now Frag has a stated policy of not recruiting people from other clans.

What if your clan isn't a clan, merely a group of like minded students who attend the same University System?

ass, tfc isn't a deathmatch. It's great that you can get 90-100 kills in one game, but the question is, does your team win?
The other night I was playing avanti, there was a hw on the other team who at the end of the game had a score of 140-51. My team won by 110 points. He was a damn good hw and he killed me a couple times, but I usually just rjed over his head to cap the next cp. From what I understand, tvb isn't a "real" clan. It's just a group of regulars on the ville who frag together. You don't have to be the best player in the world to join, you just have to be a reg and you can't be an asshole

I'm curious, would I be elegible to join tvb?

the_avenger pretty much nailed the concept of TVB, I think. It's just a bunch of regulars who like to frag together. Even though a number of us are VERY good players, there's no requirement regarding skill level. All that we care about is if you've been here a while (a long while), if you play by the rules, and if you're fun to play with.

Not all NSA went to TVB either. I picked up some of my fellas from there after it broke apart

hehe my "clan" cv isn't really a clan, it's just two of my friends and I who play tfc. I don't believe in clans. I don't care what you other guys think, but *I* find that clans ruin the whole purpose of the game. *I* play tfc because *I* enjoy it, if I start taking tfc as an organized sport or something like that, it ruins the level of fun. I'm not the best tfc player. I never have been and I don't plan on ever being the best. I play tfc cuz I enjoy it. Winning is just an added bonus, I very rarely will take the game too seriously and go ballistic if I lose.

P.S. If I ever join a real clan, please hunt me down and kill me.

JD, i don't remember meeting you back in the TBV day either. Of course, I definately was not a regular....I was more likely one of those annoying respawn campers. But hey, everyone has to start to somewhere. But I do remember it being a great server, and had some cool people. It actually took me a while after playing on AvantiVille to make the connection that they were related. Good times....

Well the origional recuiting process of TVB went very fast. I added all the people unclanned that I knew into TVB. The NSA merger was a special case because I took all of them except TIII, Cool Guy, and Dgenr8. They joined Bakuryu in BR.

I don't recruit from other clans unless it's a merger with us under the TVB name.

Since our roster is near 40 I recruit much slower now. First reason is the roster size and the second is most of the regulars are already in.
