Whether you agree with it or not, you have to admit, that is some pretty good editing to make it look so real |

Roof - I didn't post it for a reaction, I posted it for the humour value.
If you thought it too political then why didn't you delete it? _________________ Most evil admin around.

We try not to delete posts willy nilly. It takes more than this to earn that. _________________ Only in America......do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering. |

*shrugs* your decision
I didn't pick apart peoples reactions anyway - I merely pointed out logical flaw in what a couple of people said. _________________ Most evil admin around.

but the logical flaw is in the video itself, too... anyone can sit around and pick apart someone elses response heh...the bottom line is, i had a baked potato for dinner. that and nothing more. _________________ my pic host-age died!

The video's well done, I'll give it that, but really, is that the only thing they could use?
How about the economy? Or talk about the draft, how the military doesn't need it, but Congress says it does? These are the only ones I could think of at the moment, but I'm sure there were others.
BTW, who was it that had the sig about free speech?
I think it was something about free speech doesn't give you the right to yell, "Fire!" in a crowded movie theater. |

Whether or not the people who made the video were being serious or not, it wasn't really posted here specifically with the intention of sparking a great political debate - and to demonstrate a very good, if not quite perfect , piece of editing.
The fact that he would never ever say or think those things, but is treated by some as if he would, is the basis of the humour. |

Amusing in a warped sort of way.
Amazing is the author's technical prowess.
Absolutely no redeeming social value otherwise. _________________ Your suffering will be legendary, even in hell.

Yes I too have an opinion on this as well. I whole heartedly agree with free speech, in every form. However, I believe that people can use common sense in their free speaking. I believe that people should use discretion when they descide to open their mouths. If it is something that is gonna really cause trouble, then they should hold their tounge. Remember that the person that you are using your free speech on also has the right to free speech and the right to turn your arguements and insults around on you. For the sake of everyone, if there is something that you see or are thinking of saying that is gonna cause alot of problems, it is best to hold your tounge, for your own good and the good of others. Please people, dont be fools like the people on that site.

This is not Canadian politics Thewz. There is no comparrison in Canadian history with the events of 9-11. Pull your head out of your ass and use caution when speaking on behalf of Canadians because you don't speak for all of us.

We are a country on the brink of war... and have been for quite some time now. To me that was like a slap in the face... as if to say we as a nation condone war, violence, etc. Of course... that is my inferrence. But just as people are free to speak I am free to choose how something will affect me. I found it offensive... however... I am also free not to watch it again and not to pass it on.
I guess it is a bit difficult for some to understand why that can be upsetting. For those who do not live in this country... well, you are not in our shoes, so you will never understand what it has been like to be an American during this past year+. Even some who live here were not as affected by it as others. That is understandable. We all have our fears; we all have our convictions.
I am not here to judge... just to let you know why and how, regardless of free speech, it can be disturbing. _________________

The point is that we still have not recovered from that... and all the turmoil that is going on here now is directly related to 9-11. _________________
