Just wondering, does anyone have Charter digital pipeline or know anything about it, because in my area it's the cable provider and they have two different things like 'gold service' or 'silver service' and right now i have the gold, but if i switch to the silver i save alot of money, but i dont want my internet to go slower for tfc or anything. I know there wouldn't be a big difference in looking at websites or anything, but there could potentially be a noticable differance in gameing like tfc. Anyone have any experience with charter and could give me an answer, should i switch to silver or not? |

I have Charter Pipeline, albeit halfway across the country from you. I have the cheapest package they offer, and it's just fine for gaming. A ping of 40-70 is the norm for TFC. Still can't snipe to save my life, though! |

Thanks for the input
I probably will switch over since I save alot of money and from all that I hear it isn't too big of a difference. Charter is already pretty bad here, it goes out all the time for long periods of time, and sometimes go slower than 56k. Well, I'll see what happens, ty |

How long has Charter been offering Pipeline there? Ours was dreadful when it first went online, but has stabilized quite a bit since then. Although we can still count on brief DNS problems late every night. I've got a Post-It of IPs on my monitor so I can still surf around while they do maintenance or whatever. |
