Probs getting upgrades?

I have done it! I have found a way to beat the non upgrading newbs at their own game! Many of you have prolly figured this one out but for those who haven't. . . ooohhh! It's simple, just find the teamate who you want to upgrade your mg and build the freakin thing right on them! It will upgrade and get them stuck. It's mean but hey so is refusing to upgrade an mg! They can always just destroy it, but the funny thing is, most newbs just kill in consol or just stay there with it! LOL You can also use this as an offensive move, build an mg on an opponent! While they're trying to blow it up just wail on em! Happy engineering!

ok I should have added this, Do not attempt this on a player who will blow you up real good. The emphasis was on newbs. It works fer mwah!

I did that once by mistake. I tried building right next to a sniper so I could get an instant upgrade, and it built on top of him. I thought it was pretty funny at first, but I detonated it right away so as not to be an a@@hole. I did wait for him to start screaming though. "WTF???" (You died stupid) "Why can't I move???" Who built that thing on me???"

Sounds like Llama activity to me... that would really piss me off, I would change teams and try to own that engi. Half of the time I am an engi and it is very frustrating saying "upgrade mg" over and over but I remember the first few games I saw them in, I would avoid them like the plage until some engi kept beating me with his wrench screaming upgrade the damn thing, I touched it and volia it killed someone in front of me.... been addicted ever since.
The best way to beat this problem is to bind some common mg upgrade requests with small explanations of what they do, ignorance is bliss, it's our job to educate the noob's so that everybody wins.
