Actually Buford, I heard that on the site, it was the last theme song, I didn't know what it was nut I liked it so I searched it down and downloaded it, I listen to it while I play sometimes....It's one of my top considerations.

| I second that buford! I never really watched the Sopranos but when I first heard the theme song at Avantiville (oh, some three weeks back), I loved it and finally bought the soundtrack AND downloaded the extended version from Morpheus.com. I think the song's pretty bad-ass and carries a lot of attitude! |

Other suggestions for a ville theme song.
-Foofighter's - My Hero
-Manowar's - Kingdom Come
Both great choices to fit the theme.

Check out the song Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath. Great slow heavy guitar with the church bells. Great mood for this type of flash movie.

| Hey YPAWOM, if your still working on it, that would be a cool idea. But, I was woundering if you had a portfolio on the web somewhere. I'd be interested in taking a peak at other peices of your work. Anyway you can email it to me or post it. Thanks |

Hey YPAWOM,
That whole description sounds incredible! I've never seen a flash movie like that before. They're usually dumb ads, you sound like you are going for a cinematic experience. Go for it man!
As for the music, I have to put in a vote for "Don't fear the Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult
or "BattleFlag" Lo Fidelity All Stars
or (and I am not making this up it's a real song, just happens to reference things common to the Ville) "Rocket Science" by The Pimps. It's on the Mission Impossible Soundtrack. Very cool song and the title and artist make it weirdly appropriate. :-0
Good luck working on this and I don't know if I can be any help, but I'd be happy to try.

The tune idea is great, but you need to think about copyright issues, it would suck to build this thing around a cover tune and some lawyer contacts you with a threat, (I've seen it happen before, i'm a webmaster)
Doesn't Greebo have some original words??? and if it would help I'm in a working hardrock band with great recording equipment, I would be glad to thrash for theville. |

YPAWOM,
The whole idea rocks! I'm really looking forward to it.
How about "Bad to the Bone"?
Or The Imperial March?
Nah, do the Soprano's thing.

The Sopranos theme is a good idea. I'd also like to toss out Daft Punk's Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger, It's pretty cool. If you get a chance, check it out.
P.S. (lol @ ASS WHOOOOOOPER) <- (Sorry, had to.) |
