well thats also with caps. But i agree. A team full of anything isnt fun at all. You need variety on the teams.

I have two ideas:

1: Go to one of the other servers that don't have neo.

2: Get some scouts on your team and do what the enemy scouts are doing. If you plan out your team, you can be way better than a team with only offense with a team with both offense and defense.

If you don't like neo, don't play it!

I happen to like neo because of the scouts and pyros. I think neo makes TFC a completely different, more exciting, game. I used to hate playing it untill I learned how to play and work with the other classes.

I don't think any more classes need to be restricted. My advice is to learn to use the different parts of neo or don't play it at all. JUST LEAVE TV2 ALONE

BTW(by the way?), NeoTF was meant to be a more challenging game and I think that was accomplished well.

First off, TV2 at times is the only server with people on it. Second, I wouldn't mind playing neo, but they have completely imbalanced it. I liked it when I had something that I can do. Now I am completely useless in a game of neo because everyone can just go scout and avoid anything I put up. It wouuldn't be a big problem except that there is no limit on the number of a scertan calss there can be. Again, I believe a limit should be placed on EVERY class to be fair, That would mean if you want only two engies, then there would also have to be a limit of 2 scouts, 2 sollies, 2 heavies, and 2 of everytyhing.

This isn't always the case. You can wait sometimes for an hour and no one will show up and that would mean that you wasted an hour of time that you could be in a great game. The game can the most fun if the classes are all balanced, the limit on all classes would force people to be a vairety of classes and that is the way I believe neo was designed, to be most effective if there is at least someone of every class.

I actually LIKED neo, the early versions of it. Now it is just imbalanced and one class can easily rule others. I bet others would say that they liked the early version of neo, but now completely hate it because most classes can be made completely useless. I would greatly play a LIMITED version of the new neo with some of the features disabled.

I actually LIKED neo, the early versions of it. Now it is just imbalanced and one class can easily rule others. I would greatly play a LIMITED version of the new neo with some of the features disabled.

I agree somewhat, while i do like the old neo much better I still play this one occasionally.

i like neo (a bit) but i don't think scouts have an advantage on the other players. Every player has his own advantages. all you need to do is to learn how to work with them. that's all.

let's look at the scout: when your behing your sg and you see a scout comming all you need to do is prime a 2nd grenade and throw it to him. KABOOM................no more scout!!!!!!!


look at it like this. no it's the scouts. Next month maybe tthe pyro because he can fly around with his jetpack???????? and what then............. engies??????? cause they have their MGs??????? like that it never stops . all you need to do is learn how to use the specials and you will be able to beat them.

Neo is just a more challeging version of TFC.

Here are the current player limits on TV2:

Demoman = No Limit
Engineer = 2
HWGuy = 2
Medic = No Limit
Pyro = No Limit
Scout = No Limit
Sniper = 2
Soldier = No Limit
Spy = No Limit

There are a lot of no limits there. This could mean that we could have an all pryo team, an all spy team, an all solly team, an all scout team, an all medic team, or an all demoman team. Why can't we just put a dynamic limit on any class of 2 since with neo, you need someone in every position almost to be an effective team. Sollies need engies to activate their sam, engies need a variety of players to upgrade their mgs to different things. It is my belief that a all across the board limit of 2 for each class would benifit the entire game.

there you said it yourself. If you have a team that's all scout they won't be effective!!!!!!!!!! so why complain about the limits. When you have a team that's all scouts that means they are not effective. you can easyly walk into their base grab the flag and cap it. Let the rest off your team protect the flag with some nades and voila you have winning team, or the other team will see their mistake in the all scouts thing and most off them will then change to another class.

Yes, I know I have said it. But most people don't know what is effective in neo. That is why I have brought up the idea of putting the limits on every class.
