hot diggity damn, i am BACK IN BUSINESS! turns out my CPU isnt fried after all, the voltage was wayyy high though and im sure i did some sort of badness to it, but its working now... i finally had a chance to take a look at it, and a quick cmos clear did the trick, though i did have to re-set all my settings... but i have learnt a few things id like to pass on...
1) dont turn your cpu voltage up too high
2) one's PC problem diagnostic skills are apparently not as good after imbibing certain beverages, but i didnt even attempt to fix it then lol
while school has started again, cutting back on the TFC time, its turning out to be a good start to the new year! _________________ my pic host-age died!

negatory!!!!
my friend jsut got one of the newest asus boards but had some maaaaajor issues with the ram, [it can only use like 3 types] and returend it and got the same board i have.... i would typically agree but this is one hella cool board and works very well too, no need to unlock cpu's is jsut one of the tons of great features _________________ my pic host-age died!
