well, some terrible news- i think i fried my cpu.... my computer is not boothing right now, and i cant afford to fix it right now becasue im spening all my money getting my damn car working lol, but perhaps i will occasionally be on playing on this pos computer, and still on the forums.... *sigh* oh well learned my lesson, i needed a new cpu anyway lol....when that thing is back in action it will be better than ever! and wish me luck, my driving test is tomorrow...w00t!!

lol no, i turned up the voltage to the cpu a bit too high i think....but i was able to salvage my old backup TFC folder on this comp, so i might actually get to play some! ooh and with better ping too

Before you get a piece of Dell Hell...

Check out

www.emachines.com (they use Intel or AMD matched chip sets) cheap cheap

Dell assigns fixed iroc's even if not using them when you add componets you can not reassign them. They do this to make the component addition easier for themselves. Compac does the same thing. (can't blame them some people souldn't own a computer or take a class at least.)

May not happen to you but it did for me and my $300 video card became a paper weight. So no I dont work for emachines.
