Should I get an Xbox or PS2?

I really like this one game called Dynasty Warriors 3. This game is filled with killings and that is what I like. Surronded by nmes, u can choose over 40 heros and so forth. Both are available for both systems. But the sequel will be on PS2, not sure when for xbox. So what would u pick becuase I'm getting either one tomorrow!!!!

Definitely the PS2. The graphics for both systems are about the same (despite the XBox's major graphical advantage), and PS2 has a wider range of games, which the XBox lacks. And for DVD playback on the XBox, you have to shell out some extra cash for the DVD unit. The XBox, and it's controllers are also a little too big.

Triiger.....if you like online gaming definitely go with xbox.....xbox live rules....way better than PS2's online stuff. Just my 2 cents.

Hmmm, not a field that I know too much about as I refuse to buy one but I do know that the PS2 appeals to lots of peeps I know due to the availability of mod chips and lots of pirated software.

I dont condone piracy but it seems to make the PS2 quite popular.

Myself, if I was buying one I would get an Xbox. That way if I get bored I could use the P3/733 CPU and other bits to build a spare PC.

One thing to keep in mind. Upgrades.

When PS upgraded to PS2, you were able to use the old controllers and still play the old games! That was a classy move IMHO. Saves lots of money!

Nintendo, rips you off everytime they upgrade because everything changes! And the games become useless on the new system. That is crap. Not quite sure how X-Box will handle their upgrades but knowing Bill Gates. . . he will probably change everything to get more cash.

X-Box has the more adult oriented games.
PS2 has both adult and children oriented games.
Nintendo is mostly child oriented gaming but does have a few adult games.
