i cant replace my icons on my desktop. this happened cause there occured an error and i had to reboot my computer.
any idea how i can undo this so that i can place them wherever i want.
my OS is ME 
ps. it's not set to autoarange icons.

More than half your problem is ME. MS even decided to stop supporting it so I would change OS as soon as possible. But, if that is not feasible for you, then try running ScanDisk on it and see if it finds and corrects the problem. If not then I have no idea.

| Some Computer-security programs won't let you move icons. I don't know if Window's default security options do this, but It's worth checking out. |
