The best place to check is here http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/ You can search on any data string and gives you information about how the virus/hoax will propagate.

Can you say 'Internet Urban Legend'?
This one ranks up there with the kid trying to get the most Christmas Cards, and the one where Microsoft will pay money if you forward an email to 10 people.
Working in an IT department, we see these all the time, and they are truly annoying. I know our users are just trying to be vigilant, and help us out, but it is really bothersome to keep explaining that these are hoaxes.
