ok, i have a stupid question that i used to know the answer to
How do you alter what files open upon startup, there is a list somewhere but i forgot where. |

Do you mean when the computer starts up?
You can type 'msconfig' in the run box and see what is starting up.

Go to start menu up to programs and it will show StartUp on your list, click on it.
