I hope yours works. My Geforce2 MX 400 64 meg card only runs at an average of 15 frames a second. _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

Welcome to smoothness on a G2 ? Man I had to buy a new card as well. I bought a gainward G4 ti4200 and it woked fine for 3 months. Turns out it dident like the system I put together. Think its putts out with the Asus A7V333 Motherboard. So I was sitting in the place I bought it trying to get the problem solved. So my options came down to having no card for 4 weeks while Gainward jacked around with it and give me something that "might work". Or to spend a lil more cash for another card. I spent 152 on the G4 ti4200 and they gave me 142 bucks in credit off of it. So I threw somemore money in the pot and got a Gainward ti4600 for 177 more buckerroos.... pretty mad that I had to spend more money on my damn computer but bah. I guess thats the way that technology goes.
The card is running good by the way. I also had to move my hard drives apart from each other cause the card is so long it starts going into the HD bays HAHA! |
