Where did you install NS? What folder is it in? _________________ Recipient of POTM award

Lol, I may be a new name but I'm not new to HL. The directory "ns" is in my HL folder and the executable I would use is "c:\games\half-life\hl.exe -console -game ns". The game comes on fine, it has all the menu pictures and the loading screen in place, the customize player options are there (although you can still select what player model you want, and all the models are the original HL models... is that on other people's too?). As far as I can tell NS is installed but HL isn't recognizing it's there for some reason... but that is just a guess. |

Bizarre.
I didn't think you were new judging by your post count. I just thought you were stupid. Just Kidding!
Someone recently had the same issue and it was because they installed to the wrong file. Thought maybe that was what heppened. You are seeing the multiplayer game prompt though so your problem is obviously. . . . . a problem. .
Does it only do this in multiplayer? Can you play Lan games without seeing this error? _________________ Recipient of POTM award

I have to go through TFC to get into NS. I use the Cstrike retail sw package and it does not know here to install it and make it work.

Use the icon in the start menu, not the one put on the desktop, for some reason if you use the one on the desktop it is buggy. _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

The problem is that for some reason ns is listed twice in the mods screen in half-life. One of them works, the other one doesn't, and if you just type -game ns in your command line it will use the bad one. |
