I need help trying to shorten a avi file. Anyone help? I'm kinda lost with this program.

Click on the select tool, then go to the end of the avi and click and drag to the length you want it.

Or right click the avi fragment on the timeline, and select duration or something. Set it to the time u want: (it's like this minutes:seconds:frames). I think you have to compress the file as you export it again, I'm not sure.
