I have always thought that its possible to take a screenshot af an avi movie playing on my comp(to capture 1 frame of the movie), then the other day i tried it and it didnt work. it was just blank on the avi part 
Anyone know how this can be done?
There is alot of screenshot programs out there but none of them i tried has worked

what player are you using? i know that doesnt work with windows media player, but it sometimes works with my ATi media player, and that has a screenshot button already built in...i think it also works with quicktime
