I was thinking of going to pueblo, mexico to study spanish. I was wondering if any of you went there, and if so, tell me what it was like? My school is offering a program where I only have to pay 2000 for all expenses to go there for 3 1/2 weeks. I will reside at another jesuit university and learn spanish from a jesuit professor. Yep, my professor will be a spanish priest how exciting man. "Bad Trigger!!! You put the friggin accent above the wrong letter!!! Where's my paddle!!! No food for you pal, go to your dungeon!!!"

Anyway I was wondering if I should go and what not. Class would most likely be everyday, but some class sessions are like field trips where we go off to mueseums and historical places. I don't know, it's just that I really do not want to take Spanish 3 next semester at my school. I heard it was really hard. By going to pueblo it will fulfill my spanish 3 requirement. Should I do it? I just want to get it over with that's all. So, whatcha think peepos?

Shouldn't it be "yo quiero ir al pueblo, mexico"? I'm taking Spanish 1 right now, so I'm just wondering...

As for the trip...I would go, sounds like a great experience. You'll learn to speak the language best if you're actually forced to use it

bahaha spanish III here, in a class with all sophomores (ack!) id definately go, classes suck and anything like that is bound to be somehitng youll remeber for a long while, and a helluva good way to learn some mas espanol!

Yeah I'd go just for the interesting experience and to get away from college and classes...I'd miss tfc though. But you arent able to play at your college anyway :/

3 1/2 weeks isn't a lifetime and you will be surprised how few chances you get to do interesting and adventurous things later on in life. Go now and live and experience life. If you don't you may regret it forever and if you do you will remember it forever.

Donde es Pueblo?

Never been to Pueblo but I have been to Mexico several times. It has some beautiful country and it has some places where you should not go.

Just inside the border, yuck. Deep into Mexico is very nice.

I say go for it. Become wordly! See other countries whenever you get the chance. Culture. . good stuff.
