I'm not sure if it's me or the server, but ever since the ntf came to the ville I've been having a lot of lag. I tried tweaking my system (just connection wise) and still no positive outcome. Does anyone know any good tweaks for dsl? (I have aol plus-That's aol dsl which isn't bad at all) I would really appreciate the help. Plz don't give me links. I've been to a bunch of them and they don't explain it to me in normal language. And yeah, I'm a newbie at this. But I'm learnin'.

Go to the FAQ section in the forums and read the thread "bad ping question"
There are ideas there. Also you should use a tracer program it will quickly tell you if its You or them that is the problem. Its really easy to use and read, try this one its got a 30 day free trial. This isn't exactly what you asked for it is the best first step. If you need any help figuring out what the tracer program says post it.
Again you will find this program about the easiest thing to use
