It didn't ask you for your CD-Key?? It's been awhile, about 3 years, since I installed mine but I seem to remember it asking for it. If not then I'm not sure. _________________

George, if it can't be fixed with duct tape, it can't be fixed at all.

On your old computer, go to the Start menu, and hit "Run". Type in "regedit" without quotes. From there, you will need to go through a series of dropdown menus (Go HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Valve>Counter-Strike>Settings) and on the right, scroll down until you find a variable that says "Key". Double click on Key, and a box will popup with your CD-Key selected. You said you had Counter-Strike, so I'm assuming you have the retail version, and thats how to do it for that. If you just have Half-Life, do the same up until Valve, and then select Half-Life>Settings. To put it on your new computer, do the same as above in the registry, and just replace whatever is in there. _________________
