well when i was looking for my configs menu i came across something else it was the comandmenu aka ur ingame GUI it turns out that that handy little drop down menu can be edited anyway u want so i added a section this is how u can add u can copy and paste mine if u want

"8" "Incoming spy"
{
"1" "say_team Incoming spy as Scout"
"2" "say_team Incoming spy as Sniper"
"3" "say_team Incoming spy as Soldier"
"4" "say_team Incoming spy as Spy"
"5" "say_team Incoming spy as Engineer"
"6" "Say_team Incoming spy as Demoman"
"7" "say_team Incoming spy as Hw guy"
"8" "say_team Incoming spy as Medic"
"9" "say_team Incoming spy as Pyro"
}

that now gives me a new menu under number 8 for incoming spies now if i see a spy i'm two clicks away from telling my whole team

u can add anything though it doesn't need to b that heck if u wanted u could add custom menus for neo tf the possiblities are endless ohwell that wat i have dun i hope u all read this and feel enlightened oh yea and to do so u have to do like i did but u can change how many options and what the options do ... and u can never run out of room cuz the max is 40 menu's of 100 choices each thats allota menu's

If you REALLY want to free up bound buttons.

Quote:
setinfo exec_class on
setinfo exec_map on

Put these in autoexec.cfg

This enable your binds to change based on what class you are playing. EG. enabling you to bind the same button to two different things and all you have to do is change classes for the rebind to take place. Here's what two of my class configs look like. Keep in mind that if you change something in one class.cfg it will change for them all, UNLESS you have it bound to something in each class config.

demoman.cfg wrote:
echo DEMOMAN CFG LOADED

cl_pitchdown "108.5"
bind "u" "exec /talk/demoman.cfg"

alias +crouchjump "+duck; +jump"
alias -crouchjump "-duck; -jump"
bind shift +crouchjump

bind "del" "+gren1"

bind "UPARROW" "+forward; +reload; wait; wait; -reload; discard"
bind "DOWNARROW" "+back; +reload; discard"
bind "LEFTARROW" "+moveleft; +reload; discard"
bind "RIGHTARROW" "+moveright; +reload; discard"

bind "MOUSE2" "special"
bind "PGDN" "+det5"
bind "mwheelup" "invprev;+attack;wait;wait;-attack"
bind "MWHEELDOWN" "invnext;+attack;wait;wait;-attack"

bind "F5" "say_team [DEF]Where is our flag?"
bind "F6" "say_team [DEF]Incoming water/alternate entrance!"
bind "F7" "say_team [DEF]Flag/Cap Point in Danger!"
bind "F8" "say_team [DEF]I'm dead/resupplying/out of position"
bind "F9" "say_team 10-4/Yessir/Acknowledged/Roger"

[quote="medic.cfg"]echo MEDIC CFG LOADED

cl_pitchdown "89"
bind "u" "exec /talk/medic.cfg"

alias +crouchjump "+duck; +jump"
alias -crouchjump "-duck; -jump"
bind shift +crouchjump

bind "del" "dropitems; say_team [OFF] I have tossed the enemy flag! (%hH|%aA)"

bind "UPARROW" "+forward; +reload; wait; wait; -reload; discard"
bind "DOWNARROW" "+back; +reload; discard"
bind "LEFTARROW" "+moveleft; +reload; discard"
bind "RIGHTARROW" "+moveright; +reload; discard"

bind "MOUSE2" "+gren1"
bind "PGDN" "special"
bind "mwheelup" "invprev;+attack;wait;wait;-attack"
bind "MWHEELDOWN" "invnext;+attack;wait;wait;-attack"

bind "F5" "say_team [OFF]SG near flag!"
bind "F6" "say_team [OFF]SG in RR"
bind "F7" "say_team [OFF]SG in Flag Room!"
bind "F8" "say_team [OFF]Where is the enemy flag?"
bind "F9" "say_team 10-4/Yessir/Acknowledged/Roger"[quote]

Hope that helped and it is much faster to his a button than it would be to pull down the menu.

When I'm playing demoman I like to be able to set a pipe trap directly below my feet. This makes this possilbe. However it does make you move in the opposite direction when looking down which makes it more difficult to DM. So use with caution.

Beware, its been said in other threads that this is one of those binds thats frowned upon here at the Ville because it allows you to do something you cant do normally. Just an FYI and not trying to start a script war again so you people who are salivating at the mouth to start one up on this "just keep moving on, nothing to see here"

I am proud to be Bind FREE! Except for of course the necessary voice binds such as "Amen", and FIRE! FIRE! MUAHAHAHAHA!!!!"

Other than that, I am completely free of binds. Keep that in mind next time I burn you
