interesting thing came to mind for me today on restaurants??

what type of food or country styles do people like these are some examples:
Italian, Mexican, Indian, hindu, korenean, japaneses

what type of resturants do u have in your town or state examples of:
mcdonalds, burgerking are the most popular in america

just curious as to what people like or think about eating out or is it most likely you all would eat at home??

you all have great choices in foods and i resepect your choices that you would place here

I create my food. Bald eagle meat with baby seal fins and whale fat is my favorite, along with a side of koala eyeballs. Oh yes, I use elephant ivory utensils as well.

We call these "fries" in SE Okla--i.e. lamb fries, calf fries. I personally don't eat them, but they are considered a delicacy (r-i-i-i-i-i-ight).

If I am going out to eat I prefer Chinese, Mexican (authentic more than Tex-Mex), and Italian. We have several good Chinese restaurants close (immigrants from China even) and a real good Mexican place in town (even from Mexico too, some speak Spanish only--which I am beginning to learn--we eat there often ).

I don't get good Italian too much because there are no "authentic" Italian places near. (One of my best friends in HS had a neighbor who was Italian--went back to Italy every summer--The Olive Garden is not "Italian", its American/Italian. Its very good, but not as good as the REAL Italian.)

Otherwise I like to cook myself. Yes, I wear the apron in the family. My wife is a good cook, don't get me wrong, but cooking dinner relaxes me after a day at work. Give me an open flame and a grill--and you will never go to a steakhouse for steak again.

Living in New York I have every kind of food imaginable available to me. Japanese is my all out favorite. There's this little place on West 56th street called Tenkai. Best place in the city, huge selection of sushi and other Japanese delecasies(sp?). All Uni is good but somehow Tenkai seems to have the freshest Uni in New York.
