Thanks Rob... and LlamaBeans... and MyMunkeye!!

Glad to hear that Neo_TF has found a permanent home at the ville.

Maybe you could put the Neo_TF txt file on its own page here on the site, so new players can have a look at it before (or after) they get confused in-game. Just a thought...

It's nice to see neotf on the ville...my only gripe is how those damn multiguns can detect spies. It makes spies almost useless, since they are relatively weak without their disguise.

I think the NTF team is trying to fix that along with the other bugs.

*** NTF has been put back on TV2 if anyone hasn't noticed. So that makes all but TV1 that has it.

I noticed
Thought I was off my nut
Especially since I musta typed the wrong ip (was going for TV1 - but when I asked the server it's ip, it gave me TV1's ip)

Can't we keep it 50-50?
IMHO neo-tf ruins warpath

Talking on Warpath......

Not just spy detectors but the fact that after one team wins a round, their well placed MG dont go away and the losing team usually get mowed down just trying to get their first cap point. This seems to give the winning team a little more edge as their advance defense help them with the following round.

That too is a bug, but all 3 servers that run NTF run warpath. There's no way around it. The same goes foe Avanti.

I'd like to chime in here as medic. There are some cool toys in this mod (some pirated - like tesla coils direct from Red Alert), but it seems to be an Engineer heavy mod. They get all these cool toys, and get the frags from them.

A medic gets to upgrade a dispenser to a med dispenser. Does the Medic get any points for the use of the dispenser for health? There doesn't seem to be much at an individual level in it for medic, demo, or HWGuy.

It is a great mod for team play. But I think the stats lose meaning in this mod because so much goes to the Engineers.

They need some cool toys for some of the other classes. Like an infection grenade that has 2X the radius of a normal grenade. That would be worthwhile. Or a health grenade that pumps up any teamate in its radius to 150. You get the idea.
