I was wondering what everyone uses for their controls. Not binds or anything linke that, but if they use the keyboard and only the keyboard, a keyboard/mouse combo, or a keyboard/joystick combo. _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

How on Earth would you use the other options? It is just way to difficult to look up using only the keyboard (you have to push the -/+ buttons) So how are you going to look at someone who is on a cliff that is to the topright part of your screen? You have to push + AND look right AT THE SAME TIME! Now how are you going to move and shoot at the same time while this is going on? You need like 4 hands!
Oh yea and joystick is way too unaccurate |

I was more thinking in the line of using a joystick when sniping. But I didn't know if it would work or not. I just have gotten tired of the mouse and it feels akward to me using it. I never would ues the keyboard, but I was just including all of the choices that I could think of. _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

Keyboard+mouse is the only way that has enough accuracy and
flexibility... though I wonder now about possible designs for a
TFC-oriented game controller. Interesting mental challenge. Hmm. _________________

I use a mouse/joystick combination myself. There is some interaction between the mouse as a look-function and the stick as a move-function, but it is a quick learning curve. _________________ Your suffering will be legendary, even in hell.
