got my induction day on saturday.. then its 3 evenins a week 4 hours an evenin...

startin wage while im 17 = £3.50... after 6 monmths... up to £4.10 then after a year £4.50

when im 18 it starts at £3.90 then £4.60 after 6 months... then £5.10 after a year..

o i'm extatic.. i been searchin fr a part time job for s damn long... lol

P.S. thas per hour.. lol.. not for 12 hours work.. lmao

yikes, that's only 5.40 usd :p that's lower then minimum wage here, lol.

but i only make 6/hr(3.88 pounds) here at school

home i make 7 50(4.85 GBP) an hour though.

we didnt even have a minimum wage over here till a few years ago.. n £5 an hour is above minimum for an 18 yr old in da uk...

i dont mind... its money... a lot more than £5 a week... which i had to try n do all my stuff with for the past 7 years.. lol

hehehe, I remember just a couple years ago when I volunteered to work for about $3/hour. At least it was a fun job

Now I've got two jobs... this one part time $8/hr and one I just started, part time, $13+/hour... gee, guess which one is going to get more of my time? (I'll give you a hint, when I went for the first day of work, I found that the $13 has a refrigerator stocked with Mike's hard lemonaide)

well i just found dis converter thingy.

wages when im still 17

starting = £3.60 = $5.38668
after 6 months = £4.10 = $6.31011
after a year = £4.50 = $6.92586

wages as for an 18 year old

starting = £3.90 = $6.00185
after 6 months = £4.60 = $7.07910
after a year = £5.10 = $7.84857

so its not that bad... and only 12 hours a week. so to start its about £42 = $64.6333

P.S. i converted em... cos im bored n sick of school project work.. lol
