I'm waiting to get on TVIII, so i'm tlaking to my friend right. Anyways he does LARP ( live action role playing) and he had a question about his character. He needed to know how much a knife would weigh. he started off asking for an 11inch combat knife with a 6inch blade. Me being visual i started looking at the knife collectors web site for an example. he came to the conclusion that he liked one on that site. so here it is...

how much would the knife, 5th from the left weight, approx. ?

Not too sure, but I would say somewhere between 7 and 10 pounds. Most would weigh a little more I think, but that one is sorta small.

BTW, I would just go for that sword in the middle

I say between 2 and 3 pounds because most knifes are made to be light. Now swords are different
