I have downloaded a few old demos and I can't get them to play. I go into TFC, pull down the console, and type playdemo xxx.dem I get this error message:
WARNING! demo protocol outdated.
Demo file protocols 43:5, engine protocol is at 46:5
So tried doing viewdemo instead of playdemo. I got this message:
WARNING! tfc\bcuemonkey.dem has an outdated demo format.
WARNING! DemoFile::ReadDemoPacket: message length > MAX_POSSIBLE_MSG
DemoFile completely loaded
Disconnected
I also tried going to HLTV to try. It also said demo is outdated. So does anyone know a way to get old demos to work? I'm stumped.

Hmmm... Were these demos from a previous TFC patch? I wonder if that could be the issue. The latest patch did mess with quite a few things in the TFC vehicle.
