Old Classic Rock, and generally anything alternative.
At lunch a bought Avril Lavigne's cd. I heard the song on the radio and not that I think the band is good, cause their not or the producer sucked, but her voice and lyrics made me wounder. She is a 16 yr old "Canuck" and she wrote everything on the CD. I haven't heard it all, but it's a pretty impressive on her part. _________________

I don't listen to music when I play. I use a headset and want to hear everything that is going on in game. _________________

THat is quite the playlist, i thought the 1100 song on my winamp was a bit, may hit 2k if i copied all my cd's and such. I usually listen to some heavier stuff when i play though, Anthrax, S.O.D. Fear Factory all that good stuff. Just because i lsiten to music doens't mean i odn't lsiten to the game, i have both cd player and game blasting at the same time( T.V. on too occasionally ) You can generally tell a lot byt what peopel listen to... |

Well, what I listen to changes very very frequently. Right now, I mean, As I type this post-
Dave Matthews Band "Busted Stuff"
The Vines "Higly Evolved"
The Flaming Lips "Yoshimi battles the Pink Robots"
Kings of Convenience "Quiet is the New Loud"
Doves "The Last Broadcast"
Elbow "Asleep in the Back"
Norah Jones "Come Away With Me"
Muse "Origin of Symmetry"
Belly "Reissue (don't know the CD title)"
Dirty Vegas "Days Go By"
Thats just the CDs I have been listening to, all purchased within the last 2 months I love living on a college campus
Umm, as far as mp3s go, and in game...I listen to music in game, usually. Right now, my mp3 collection is up to 12.8GB and 3,078 songs. I have ripped a lot of my CDs, so that I don't have to hunt for and switch CDs all the time while at my computer.
If I had some webspace, I would post my playlist as well, but alas, I have none. _________________ I WAS (back in august of 02) just better than you, thats all.

CG- Here are a few things you might like
any mix on the Ministry of Sound label (www.ministryofsound.com)
Paul Van Dyk : Politics of Dancing (2x Mixed CD)
Lock and Load : House some More (great track)
Olav Basoski : any mix (recommend Very Disco if you can find it)
Carl Cox : any mix
Dj Dan : any mix
Bad Boy Bill : Banging in the Box series 1-5 and Banging in London
If you're in the mood for speed : Happy Hardcore has what you need
Try the Sundissential label as well, lots of good UK hard house- fast stuff
That's just for starters...if you really want to know a bunch...PM me or find me in IRC. |

Pantera and Fear Factory are always good for some killing. CG I just downloaded the whole Swordfish soundtrack, and it has some pretty good techno mixes including one of newborn by muse. The whole thing was mixed my Paul Oakenfold, so it is pretty sweet. _________________ "You don't learn to frolic, you release the frolic within."...oh yeah "Don't frolic in the wet spots."

The techno version of that song isn't half as good as the original. _________________

Snagg, you are given poor old CG some fookin Hardcore techno songs
I would suggest some "bubblegum techno" for you Curious. Try Daft Punk, the whole Discovery CD is amazing, check out One More Time, Digital Love, Harder Better Faster Stronger, and Something About Us. All from that CD. Also, check out Modjo, very good stuff. Umm, Oh, check out the rest of that Dirty Vegas CD, its very good as well.
Umm, if you want ANY of those songs I mentioned, hit me up via PM etc, I've ripped em all from CD.
And JR, you're damn right, MUSE freakin RAWKS!!
Everyone should check these guys out! _________________ I WAS (back in august of 02) just better than you, thats all.
