I love playing medic on Acropolis2! There are so many paths to the nme base, and so many variations of defensive positions at the cap, that it makes for a challenging and fresh game every time. Plus, there are enough tight quarters, that you can get a good infection going.

In fact there are a few maps that I just love to play certain classes on:

Engineer - Epicenter
There are so many novel places, offense and defense, to set up SG's that you can keep the nme guessing. Since there are a number of places that choke the flow of players, you can really get some devastating EMP ambushes going.

Vidars2 - Soldier
With all of the space in the well/flag room, it's a real challenge to defend the flag. But that also makes offense fun. There are enough nooks and crannies, that a soldier can almost be as sneaky as a scout or medic on offense.

Medic - Crossover
Lots of good chances to spread the virus. Lots of ways to attack the flag. Just plain fun.

Anyone else have favorite map/class combos?

Now, I know that the maps listed above are the best maps ever, but other people might not agree. There have already been a number of "favorite map" polls, and I don't want to start a "Rock2 suxors!!" thread. I just want to find out if other people have a certain map or two that seems to work the best with a certain class and their playing style.

Avanti - Demoman. Although I'll snipe for a bit on O if the D snipers really pi$$ me off. And Engineer on D, if we have enough Demomen (i.e. 6 of them...) Avanti's still my home
Badlands - I like to go Spy on O, although I try Medic occasionally. And if there's a soldier on his own on D, I'll go Medic, and help him out.
Spambowl - Spy on O, Engineer on D.
Mulch_trench - Medic, or Spy. Concing is fun, but so is stabbing opposition snipers Especially after my own snipers have hit me a dozen or so times
Llamaball - Engineer, Demoman, Random PC, whatever.
Openfire_I - I'm not a fan of this, so I just go HWghey and stay in D.
Rock2 - HWghey. Bah...
Warpath - Demoman. I'm the tunnel guy.
Well - Engineer. It just suits me, that's all. Although I'll go Spy for O, if I feel like it.
And if anyone wants to mess around and have a sniper duel with me, anywhere, I'll do that. I need the practice
