my friend wants to register to use the forums and he's been having some dificulties

he registers -- then he tryes to log in and gets this message

You have specified an incorrect or inactive username or an invalid password

does he have to activate it via an e-mail or somthing -- i forgot how it worked when i registered

if he has got to confirm via an e-mail -- he hasent received one -- any one know whats up -- or what needs to be dun

You have to have a legit email address to activate an account. Double check the email address and try again.

i know -- because he had been having trouble -- i registerd him with his chosen user name -- using my e-mail address just so i could activate it 4 him and then he could change the e-mail and password to his own choice when it had been activated -- but i havent had the activation e-mail sent to me
