OK... I have a crosshair pack sitting on my desktop that I need to put into my TFC folder. Anyone have any idea where everything goes? I cannot stand that dang lil yellow AC circle. It gets so lost on so many of the maps. I need something I can actually see... so if anyone could tell me where to put the files, I'd appreciate it. _________________

"Crosshairs.spr" and all textfiles are to be placed in:
[x:]\games\halflife\valve\sprites
If this directory does not exist, create it.
This came directly from the crosshairs that I use. I hope it works for you. Mine are green cuase I can't see the yellow ones. _________________

The only file you need to change, is crosshair.spr in your tfc/sprites folder. I don't know why you would have more than 1 file, unless they gave you the bitmaps they made the crosshairs from. |

They have a lot of things there. Not just crosshairs. They have skins for anything you can imagine. They also have awesome pics for your console. Have fun! _________________

If you don't think you use your crosshairs, then type "crosshair 0" in the console while in-game without the "s. If you don't see any difference, then you probably don't use your xhairs. And for those who do, try this out, it's fun to play with no xhair sometimes
BTW, to get it back, type "crosshair 1" in the console while in-game.
[edit] I got the xhairs made by |RES|Dragline. They're the last ones on the last page. [/edit] _________________

You don't have to create a "games" folder. The default directory for Half-Life is [x:]\SIERRA\Half-Life\ |
