I was in that game. Did it kick you out to windows, or just out to the console? Have you tried a tracer route? Have you changed your system? In-game it looked like you had just frozen in place. You were in mid stride. _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

I don't know about just being kicked from the game, but occasionally the thing locks up completely. Not even the Windows key can do anything. The only thing to do is find something pointy (a pointer), and reset the computer. If that's the case, then it may just be your machine, and my machine also. But I can't be bothered investigating it, as it's an infrequent occurence. |

Thats the exact same thing that happens to me! I connect and suddenly halflife closes to windows, and if i try to open halflife again without restarting, it always says theres an illegal opperation |

One thing that I know that can cause various problems is closing down Half-Life and going in again without restarting. For me, there is still hl.exe running on the Task Manager, taking up a big chunk of memory. So that has to be closed down before you can play again. It also locks up all my other programs until I do this. |

Update your video drivers or run in the opposite video mode that your running in now, that used to happen alot in DOD and changing the video mode usually fixed it. _________________ Killing is my bidness ladies and BIDNESS IS GOOD!!!! |

Hmm... I used to have to close TFC down then re-enter before trying to connect to a different server, or else it would blue-screen. The XP Crash Analysis folks pointed out that it was an nVidia driver problem. New drivers = problem solved
(Several months ago, btw) |
