League maps ...

When I got back, I read the threads about league maps, and got excited about trying them out. And the developments looked promising:
Possible league maps on TV V
A league map night hosted by [njk]
League maps on TV VI and TV II

So I downloaded all of the maps, and fired up TFC. Unfortunately, no one is ever on II, V, or VI when I get on. Maybe it’s because I’m on the west coast, and don’t usually get on until 8 my time (10 Ville time). Anyway, I’ve played stowaway_l on the Hood, and had a lot of fun. I’d like to play some of these maps with some regs. Monkey_l looks like a really fun map.

Mulisha! Computer! Can you help me out?

Looks like your ' key isn't working too well Target...but you should come over to TV5, we're usually playing there or on 6 in the late evenings with league maps running.

its not fair

im in bed by 10 ville time -- as the UK is 6 hours ahead do thats 4AM here in the UK -- i somtimes stay up this late on the weekend -- but still --

I know this isn't a league server etc etc.

But I've noticed when playing these maps that many people will just by default adjust their game play to these rules. Yesterday I actually got a chance to play and all but one person while we were play adhered to a no O vs O policy, and also no yard defense. Not an official rule, but when everyone else that is playing is attempting to play in this manner I would have thought it would have just been courtesy to play in this way.

OH well I understand this isn't a rule here for this maps and I didn't say anything about it really other than just mentioning it in a VERY peaceful non-confrontational manner.

Just somethign to chew on.

I've only had that happen 1 time since I've been playing the league maps here JR. Funny thing is you were probably there when the llama's were acting up. The maps are usually a lot fun here. If you get in there when njk clan is get ready for the play your used to. Good comp with them.

Yeah TV and league maps have been a bad exp. for me as well.

However if you get in there with the right people it can be quite fun. Heh exp. when you don't know the map and take the flag the wrong way
