man popup ads are really getting pathetic...this is an actual ad i got from some site...so depressing.....

First, they were put there to advertise. Then, they became annoying. And now people aren't even trying? If this keeps up we may have to get rid of pop-ups altogether.

Pop up ads rock. I love those things. YA RIGHT. Does anybody actually clock on those, except for here of course. Everybody I know complains about them. There are even programs out there that block them. Are the advertisers out there that ignorant to think that people want them???

hey guys, do you wanna pay for all the stuff? the ads are a way so that people can play at the ville. its ok to voice your opinion but how many times can you complain about this?

There are some people here who have to pay money to provide you a free service here. Hint: Running a pub server is not free. The ads don't come close to covering to cost per month to run a server and/or Ville website. Before anyone gets on the soapbox and biznichez, consider the other side of the fence and what other's provide to you out of their own pocket.

I do think that it's kind of rude to complain about a stupid pop-up that can be prevented with pop-up stoppers, or just by simply clicking it off. How about we have Rob mail you the bill and you can pay it for the next few months......

For once I have to go with Goal Post. The purpose of the first post was to show how lame popups have become.

(I spent about 15 seconds trying to get that dumb green box to close until I realized it was a picture.)

Ahh well then all apologise. I thought that he was complaining about pop-ups here, and since I never got them to begin with, I wouldn't know whether or nto they were gone. I just thought it was more "Why isn't this the way I want it Rob!" stuff which just gets tiresome, but since that obviously wan't th intention here I will remove my foot from my mouth now.

That is quite sad though, I sometimes get pop-up ads that are advertising pop-up ads. I thought that was pretty wierd.
