can't get console down

i can't get my console down, i already talked to other players but they say there is nothing wrong.
my targetline is fine it looks like this: C:\SIERRA\half-life\hl.exe -console -game tfc
So there is nothing wrong there, but i can't get the console down, so could you'lle maybe help me

Check your .cfg file and make sure the "~" is bound to the console command it should look like this in your config file:
bind "~" "toggleconsole"

hey guys thanks to bada bing i finally can get my console down.
so that means that you'lle will have to look out for me.(but you are allready doing that, So........)
