Virus

Well, this morning I was infected by Klez.E This infection came from a disk from school (which was scanned both at school, and at home but somehow still infected me.) Part of the virus payload is sending an e-mail to everyone in your address book as well as (I believe) everyone that you have sent a previous mail to. I would like to warn everyone that receives a mail from me in the next few days to please not open the attachment exp. if it is a .scr, .bat, .exe, .com, etc. I've delete the virus about an hour ago but it has already had time to go through outlook and send out the mails. Sorry about this folks...

The latest McAfee should catch this one as it was released last year out of Asia.

I have norton antivirus 2002. I like that auto update thing. It caught two virus that tried to infect my system without doing a system scan.

hmmm and people wonder why I don't open attachments the E-mails don't say anything about. I mean normally if someone sends you a file they tell you about it. Just a heads up guys

Luckily I do not open attachments when I dont know what they are.

I recieved it from Omega Sin & Roofcutter today.. Thank god Norton caught it. You guys better check your systems..

I have the paid, registered, best you can get form of McAfee that updates itself EVERY night...sometimes it can be a pain though because the pop up crashes Half-Life.

Oh and I have BlackIce firewall...you wouldn't believe how many attempts there are to put a SubSeven Trojan something or other on my computer...whatever that is...

Rob was it really from Omega and Roof? Did you check the source?

I got it too but it was from Torak although it was setup to look like it was from Warhammer. Thats how Klez operates, it sends itself out but makes it look like it is from someone else.
