LMAO! Nah, Optik needs be wary of Greebo, he is the Ville Songwriter. If you have no idea who they are, go to www.tmbg.com (need flash 5) They are a fabulous band from New York (brooklyn to be exact) and have been rocking my world since about 5th grade, when I saw them on Tiny Toons, doing Particle Man and Istanbul (not constantinople) They've been around for 20 years and have about 14 or 15 albums, numerous LPs and even 2 online, all mp3 albums. One thing about John Linnel Omega, is that after every show he pretty much high tails it to the bus, basically avoiding the fans. I dunno why, but all the TMBG fans have just accepted it, He has always done it, so no worries. John Flansburgh is the one that schmoozes with the fans, and let me tell you, he is damn good at it. He is a really nice guy, but hes not afraid to tell you how it is. One time, this lady came up and asked for an autograph while smoking a cigarette, and he refused and called her rude for blowing smoke in his face!

I love those guys. At the last show I went to:
I:
A-Met my current girlfriend
B-Got a setlist from TMBG and one from the Opening band, OK GO
C-Had hot oil land on my face (from the firebreather, it was awesome)
D-Watched as one of my friends won the famous TMBG Glockenspiel

It was an amazing night. Every one of the 4 shows I have been to has been amazing. The band is great, the Fans are great, and I think all of you who have never heard them should contact me and I can hook you up with the appropriate songs to check out.

remember, TMBG=RAWK

(not really, more like geek rock, lots of fun and great lyrics)
