The last picture looks like something out of Starwars.

A giant Darth Vader with a mallet, and a bunch of jedi lining up to fight him.

You don't want to go back. Real life becomes a blur, and days at a time disappear. If you've played you know exactly what I'm talking about.

That's how I got all of my robes actually. I was a Dark Elf Mage. Went from having a GSD, to a Robe of the Elements, to an Oracle Robe. No charge because I was a chic. Then my buddy gave me a Crystalline Robe(this is when Velious first came out) shortly there after I quit.

I was looking into the Starwars Galaxies thats comming out later this year, but im new to the MMORPG's as ive never played one, ive got 2 questions:

1 if im not going to play this 24/7, can I still compete (the site says I can but then again im sure there trying to sell a game)

2. How complicated are these games and if so how easily do you get used to them????

1. Yeah right! You will be whupped by every player who DOES play 24/7 and has all their stats kicked up and magic items out the wazoo, and so much money they have to have a caravan follow them around so they can carry it all with them. Games like these dominate people's lives so much so that it becomes their life and they play it from the time they wake up to the time they go to sleep.

2. Usually very easy to learn, that's what makes them appealing to such a wide audience of players. It's all usually point where you want to go with the mouse, and click or hold down the button to move there. And click objects and stuff to pick em up or use them.

In response to Snaggle. No not airplanes, hehe. Alter planes, in all of the planes (I think) resides a god from the choices of dieties that you can choose to worship from the beginning.

About Star Wars Galaxy.

Yes there are people that will play 24/7 and their entire life will revolve around how well they do at the game. I know peple that make a living buying and selling characters and equipment from EverQuest. As a casual player you will notice people who will level past you, but typically you can find a niche and hang around a group. It's always fun to join a guild in those games just to have some comrodiry.

These games are usual simple 'to play'. However the complexity comes in the depth of games like this. Knowing where creature will spawn that will drop loot that you want. know your way around zones/areas. Understanding fighting strategies depending on what class/creature you encounter.

Also not all of these games are PvP or player vs. player, and even when they are there is usually some kind of limit to who you can attack bases on their level.
