LOL

anyways getting the hardware end of a TFC server isnt the big proble, it really is your connection... i have cable and host a server from time to time, and after about 25 players the slowdown is really noticable at peak hours (i cant do anything on my comp or other ones that use the same connection hardly)...but the rest of the time its fine...how is your cable speed generally?

I have only once experienced actual "Lag"*KopiKat barfs his eye's out* I play TF at the same smoothness as the normal half life game so its quite fast. Now, I was wondering, could I just use my existing cable line(splice it and put it in the back of my soon to come new computer), or do I have to get another seperate service for that comp... All ur input is appreciated. Now all I gotta do is raise the $1200 for this new comp...

Are you asking about what you need to run a server?
If you are, the computer specs are fine. Dual processors, running Win2k would be better though. As far as the cable modem goes. Cable is very unpredictable. If you want to have both computers running through the modem, just get a switch, run the modem into the uplink port and the two computers into the other ports. Change the clientport on one of the machines to differ form the other, in your command line. Should be all set.
