Well, this is nothing major, but it is the epitome of lazy! I have a floppy that I never bothered to put in my computer when I built it. That's right, I have no floppy. Also, I bought 2 new fans for my puter... oh, what, 2 months ago? Are they in my computer? Of course not. So, I am going to operate now. Hopefully I won't blow anything up.

My computer loves me! It now has 4 fans. I got ready to put the floppy in and went looking for a ribbon. I thought I was going to have to tear apart a parts computer, but at the last minute I thought of one more place to look. And, YES, the only ribbon left that fit. Then I had to go through all the screws... finally, I found 4 that would work. Then I was so excited, I put the side of my case back on before putting the face plate on. I couldn't figure out why in the heck the face plate wouldn't seat. DOH!
Now, she is humming... and loving every minute of it.
And, Torak, I have WinXP which does not boot from a floppy. This is not DOS based. You boot and install from the same CD. _________________

NO
I will see if I can get one soon. Hey have you switched from ribbons to round IDE cables? I am going to, I think. Allows for better airflow, ya know? I will probably do it in the next couple of weeks, hehehe, you know this lazy thing I have going. BTW, the only fan that is copper is the one sitting on the processor. _________________
